Hi, I'm Phil, the founder of Boys Inside Books. For as long as I can remember, language and writing have excited me, especially the autobiography. Putting a journey in your own words always seemed the most fulfilling, and after reading many works and building kinship with others who lived and understood aspects of my struggles, I noticed the natural healing that followed those validations.
Giving further platform for minority voices became an ultimate mission, and now, combining my education and experience in storytelling arts, editing, psychology, and other therapeutic modalities, I want other gay and queer men, especially of color, to feel sparked in their creativity, find professional guidance with what they uncover and share, and receive the solace and comfort resulting from their most complete self-awareness and unbridled expression.
